B2W has become a leader in online retail in Latin America with the merger of four websites:, Submarino, Shoptime and Sou Barato.


B2W’s challenge was to choose a new big data analytics technology platform and prove its value. The new platform, in addition to being compatible with its business and analytics needs, needed to be efficient in executing the company’s forecast models/processes.


Eleflow helped B2W achieve excellent results by migrating the Oracle Exacta demand forecast process to Uberdata. In one month, we were able to prove that the forecast process, which ran +3.2 million statistical models, even using common servers, performed 3x faster than Exadata for other purposes. We attribute our success in cases like this is to the use of tools built on a proven efficient technological stack chosen due to our (or combined with our) diverse experience and knowledge of the Big Data ecosystem.
