One of our use cases, refers to a retail customer, who was facing challenges running their sales forecast for about 800,000 products. Before our project, the forecast was on-premises and took over 3 hours to complete. With our team engaged and with the use of open-source technologies such as Hadoop and Spark, we were able to migrate the existing environment to the cloud and run the entire forecast in less than an hour.
